Job description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical leader for development projects,
  • Lead a team of firmware engineers, including career development, performance appraisal, and providing regular feedback,
  • Design, develop, test & debug applications for the existing and new Fluke products,
  • Responsible for developing, and implementing project plans and processes, schedules, and documentation of work and results.
  • Your Team

    You will be part of a global engineering organization with team members in Europe, North America, and Asia leading organizations of engineers primarily located in Poland or other parts of Europe.

    The team in Wroclaw, Poland is or will be supporting a broad range of products within Digital Multimeters, Solar applications, installation testers, products to support EV Market (Electrical Vehicles), calibration, and networks.

    Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field,
  • In-depth experience with a variety of software development tools for building systems/toolchains, revision control, and debugging,
  • Experience with modern software development workflows using Continuous Integration Continuous Development (CICD) practices and Agile software development,
  • Strong fundamentals in programming bare-metal firmware and multi-threaded programs for a variety of OSes including RTOSes and Embedded Linux,
  • Reinforces high quality in software development using code review, test automation, and a variety of testing methodologies (e.g. unit tests, static analysis, etc.).
  • Nice to have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in leading Firmware team
  • Experience in a product organization
  • Personal Skills

  • Experience in building engaged engineering teams with a culture of feedback, open communication, and team orientation.
  • Interpersonal skills, to establish a good rapport, generate enthusiasm, negotiate priorities,
  • Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in forming relationships, great teammate, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiatives,
  • Strong problem-solving skills,
  • Demonstrates a sense of humor, tact, and flexibility in changing situations.
