Responsibilities:
Analyzing product and tool concepts regarding their manufacturability (molding & assembly)
Analyzing product modifications regarding their manufacturability during tools/line creation and after SOP
Define and match the technical requirements for manufacturing, automation and assembly processes under consideration of product design and specific requirements
Assembly tool / assembly line design, check and approval with external suppliers
Coordinating activities between product engineering, assembly tool / assembly line supplier and DEC component plants
Searching for co-operation with external assembly tool / assembly line suppliers, benchmark with Purchase Dept.
Lead development new technologies internally and externally with suppliers.
Creating assembly tool documentation, according to current procedures and standards
Assembly tool / assembly line cost estimation in each phase of project
Responsibility for PFMEA in development phase of the project
On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and Technical Center in Kraków
Requirements:
Higher technical education
Good command of English
Teamwork skills
Proven experience with assembly and plastic injection molding processes
Over 4 years of experience in designing assembly tools
Experience in the automotive industry
Proficiency in using MS Office tools
Knowledge of CAD tools
Willingness to travel abroad on business trips
