We are looking for an experienced **Senior Backend Developer** to lead the design and development of scalable **AI-powered Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)** systems behind **kBot** – our no-code assistant that empowers support agents with fast, accurate information across languages and systems.



This role focuses on building robust backend services that integrate generative AI with enterprise data sources, using modern frameworks, cloud-native patterns, and LLM technologies.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Kanban setup, contributing to a globally scalable knowledge solution that enhances the productivity of our customer service professionals.



**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for AI-powered applications.

+ Integrate LLM frameworks, vector databases, and data processing pipelines to enhance backend intelligence.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Kanban environment to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.

+ Ensure compliance with best practices in the software development life cycle, security, and maintenance standards.

+ Optimize performance, scalability, and resilience of backend systems in cloud-native environments.

+ Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment workflows.

+ Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.



**Qualifications & Skills:**



**Required:**



+ **5-8 years of experience in backend development.**

+ Strong proficiency in **Python** , with practical experience in building **APIs** and **microservices** .

+ Experience with **PHP** ( **Symfony** **framework** ) and **PostgreSQL** .

+ Hands-on experience with **cloud-native development** , preferably in **Azure** (AWS or GCP experience is a plus).

+ Expertise in **API management, microservices architecture, and API authentication protocols** (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

+ Experience with **Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker** for containerized and cloud-based deployments.

+ Familiarity with **Agile methodologies** ( **Scrum** / **Kanban** ) and **CI/CD** best practices.

+ Proven experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.



**Nice to have:**



+ Experience in designing and implementing **AI solutions** like **LLMs** , **vector databases** , or **RAG pipelines.**

+ Experience in frontend development ( **React** ) is a plus for full-stack capability.

+ Experience in **C#** and **MS SQL** is a plus.

+ Familiarity with queueing systems such as **Azure Service Bus** .
