All of our products are built in-house and are strictly related to sport.
We are serving our customers with in-play live visualizations, as well as sports statistics widgets and raw data provided by our SportsAPI.
All the features are created by using new technologies and best practices around the process of software development.
What role will you take on a team?
We are currently looking for experienced talents who would like to join our R&D group and work with us to solve complex problems in a simple way!
Your role as EM requires quality engineering experience and great management skills to guide and coach the individuals in your engineers' teams and help them grow and develop proper skills.
You will spend your time mostly on the following:
- process management and technological improvements (~70%)
- people management work (~20%)
- recruitment and administrative tasks (~10%)
Your responsibilities:
Actively foster healthy teams
Provide personal support, onboarding and regular 1:1 meetings
Identify and act on opportunities to improve team efficiency and product quality
Take an active part in creating a technological development roadmap
Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies for proposed product features
Ensure technical feasibility of product features and drive architectural decisions
Determine processes and metrics to ensure products are market-ready
Bridge the gap between product vision and engineering execution
Cost tracking and management skills
Cooperate with Product, IT, Architecture, DevOps and CTO
Our expectations:
Have 5+ years of experience building modern web applications in a commercial environment (software development background)
Have 2+ years of experience in managing team and individuals: performance evaluation, facilitating meetings, guiding career paths as Team / Tech Lead or Engineering Manager
Knowledge and good understanding of sport rules
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and delivering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with architecture and software design patterns
Experience in identifying people’s needs and talents
Have well-balanced results and people orientation
Have strong interpersonal skills and fluent in English (B2 at least)
Ability to create an organization that understands how to balance technical debt vs.
business goals
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
