Join our GSC Europe Deployment Unit to drive the duplication, transfer, and quality improvement of industrial production means.

As an Automation & IT Engineer, you will shape and implement technical solutions (automation & IT) for assembly lines and product testing equipment.

You will define architectural and technological choices to meet project needs in an environment where connected products and data management are becoming central to our industrial transformation.

Location & commitments: full-time job, Location: Bukowno, Poland, Hiring Manager: DIDIER FERRY Main Responsibilities: Define technical specifications and qualification plans for production means and lines.

Ensure compliance with automation and cybersecurity standards.

Collaborate with project and quality teams to build traceability matrices.

Propose technologies and brands suitable for production sites.

Analyze and adapt existing processes from previous plants or suppliers.

Design production lines to guarantee ease of assembly, adjustability, control, and cybersecurity.

Define and implement product testing, adjustment, and control strategies.

Integrate MES systems, traceability tools, communication protocols, and cybersecurity requirements.

Develop machine-to-machine and IoT data communication solutions.

Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier proposals and provide technical input for negotiations.

Lead equipment development with suppliers and ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Configure and validate MES (Manufacturing Equipment System) system functions and data flows.

Ensure proper label printing and marking quality.

Commissioning & Qualification: Supervise pre-acceptance and final acceptance of production means at supplier and plant sites.

Support installation and network integration of equipment.

Assist in ramp-up activities, training, and documentation handover.

Qualifications: Degree in Automation, Industrial IT, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrialization, production support, or special machine development.

Strong expertise in PLCs (Control Expert, SoMove, Operator Terminal Expert), IoT (Node-RED, Java), and network architectures (cybersecurity, virtual machines, protocols).

Knowledge of Schneider Electric platforms (PL7 Pro, Unity, Control Expert, So-Machine, Vijeo Designer) is an advantage.

Interest in digital technologies (Big Data, AI, ML) applied to industry.

Strong autonomy and leadership in cross-functional project environments.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
