About the department

The Global Commissions team manages accounting and reporting for sales, distribution, and marketing transactions across Franklin Templeton and its subsidiaries.

Focused on broker/dealer commissions for European and international fund groups, the team collaborates closely with peers in commissions and the broader global finance organization.

Joining this team offers exposure to international financial operations and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact processes in a collaborative environment.

How you will add value

  • You will prepare and post accruals across fund groups and entities.
  • You will calculate average assets.
  • You will process manual payments and post them to Workday.
  • You will analyze payables and receivables roll forward.
  • You will review trail and retro commission data.
  • You will assess distribution fee trends.
  • You will contribute to department and cross-functional projects.
  • You will assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting.
  • What will help you be successful in this role

  • Degree in accounting or business from a recognized institution.
  • Experience with financial systems and general ledger.
  • Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of financial processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and perform calculations.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
