This role:

Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems.
Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution.
The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

**Job Description**

**Roles and Responsibilities**

+ Design instrumentation for Test RIGs
+ Coordinate instrumentation application
+ Participate and present or review in technical and program reviews.
+ Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
+ Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.

Serves as best practice/quality resource.

Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.

Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
+ Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
+ Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.

Takes new perspective on existing solutions.

Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.

Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
+ Own the instrumentation for the test for a given engine test vehicle, work with supply chain and engineering counterparts to resolve problems during all phases of the engine instrumentation test process.
+ Ensure compliance to the GE Aviation Engineering Handbook to drive flawless assembly and test execution; drive engine tollgate reviews to ensure requirements are in place and risks to program are understood.
+ Coordinate with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure instrumentation requirements are in place and understood

+ Detailed oriented
+ Instrumentation knowledge for aerospace RIGs
+ Solid engineering experience
+ Testing knowledge
