For one of our Client - a global leader in industrial automation and robotics, designing and manufacturing custom single-purpose machines, robotic workstations, and automated assembly lines, specializing in customized assembly and testing systems for a wide range of industries, operating in more than 20 locations worldwide, serving industries such as automotive, electronics, and medical technology, we are looking for Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships, and managing the full sales cycle.
The role involves close collaboration with technical, service, and project teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients, while actively contributing to the company’s market presence and strategic goals.
Place of work: Home office, with regular travel to clients across Poland and occasional business trips to the headquarters in the Czech Republic or Germany.
Requirements
University degree in mechanical engineering, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical field (secondary technical education also considered with relevant experience)
Several years of experience in technical sales or project management in industrial automation and robotics
Proven experience with custom-designed machines (from single workstations to fully automated lines)
Experience working for a direct competitor as a Sales Engineer, Project Manager, or Design Engineer is highly desirable
Alternatively, experience in TIER 1 or TIER 2 manufacturing companies (automotive, medtech, consumer goods, or healthcare), especially in project management or technical engineering roles related to automated production lines
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
Proficiency in 2D CAD tools and MS Office; knowledge of CRM and ERP systems
Fluent English or German (both would be a plus)
Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
Self-driven, results-oriented mindset with ability to work independently
Willingness to travel regularly
Valid driver’s license (category B)
Responsibilities
Market Development & Customer Acquisition
Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities in line with company strategy
Proactively reach out to potential clients and build relationships with key decision-makers
Track competitors’ activities and industry developments
Actively pursue sales leads in target markets
Sales Process Management
Prepare and tailor commercial proposals for various offerings (e.g. equipment, upgrades, services, spare parts)
Evaluate customer inquiries and develop project concepts that meet both technical and commercial expectations
Create 2D layout concepts and develop complete technical solutions
Coordinate costing, quotation preparation, and supplier engagement
Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements
Project Support & Customer Relations
Clarify technical and commercial aspects of contracts with customers
Enter and confirm orders within the ERP system
Support project execution in collaboration with the internal project team
Follow up on payments and resolve service-related issues
Conduct regular client meetings and maintain long-term customer engagement
Cross-Department Collaboration
Cooperate closely with all internal departments and technical experts to resolve complex matters
Ensure smooth project handover to internal teams (project management, service, etc.)
Marketing & Representation
Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry conferences
Participate in social media and online marketing initiatives in coordination with the PR team
