Senior Node.js Developer 


Location: Cracow or Warsaw (hybrid – once a month from the office)
Contract type: B2B
Rate: 100–150 PLN/h net + VAT
Workload: Full-time
Seniority: Senior


We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to building high-performance backend applications in the digital advertising space.

What you’ll be doing:




  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and NestJS in a distributed architecture.




  • Build, optimize, and maintain automated tests and monitoring tools to ensure the highest quality of software.




  • Actively contribute to R&D initiatives, exploring new approaches and solutions to enhance the advertising ecosystem.




  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and design, through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.




  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, performant, and reliable solutions.




What we’re looking for:




  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years with Node.js.




  • Strong skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks such as NestJS and Fastify.




  • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and AWS S3.




  • Solid understanding of event-driven development, design patterns, and best practices.




  • Strong background in performance optimization, monitoring, and scalable application design.




  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and tools like Babel.




  • Ability to decompose complex tasks into actionable pieces and work independently.




  • Proactive attitude and strong desire to learn and grow professionally.




  • English proficiency sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation.




Nice to have:




  • Experience in digital advertising / programmatic advertising.




  • Familiarity with React.js and NoSQL databases.




  • Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments and writing bash scripts.




  • Knowledge of Jenkins and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).




  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog.




  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress) and writing unit, functional, and integration tests.
