We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, cloud-native data solutions with Palantir Foundry and eager to grow into a broader data architecture role.
In this role, you will lead technical delivery of modern data platforms on Palantir, while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade data systems.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of Palantir Foundry solutions: data pipelines, ontologies, workflows, and operational applicationsArchitect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms leveraging Palantir, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and modern engineering best practicesEnsure quality through CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines in Foundry and supporting ecosystemsMentor and guide engineers: conduct reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices within Palantir and beyondCollaborate with architects and stakeholders to shape solution design, system integrations, and technology selectionTranslate business requirements into Palantir ontology models, transformation logic, and workflowsGradually take on architecture ownership for projects and support pre-sales with technical solutioning and effort estimatesPartner with business users to clarify requirements, demonstrate value, and iterate deliverablesContribute to pre-sales activities: shaping proposals, presenting solution roadmaps, and providing technical insights on Palantir-based data platformsStay current with Palantir product capabilities and broader data platform trends (Data Mesh, Lakehouse, real-time analytics, observability)Contribute to N-iX internal accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable Palantir delivery frameworks Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including design and delivery of production-grade solutionsStrong experience with Palantir Foundry: ontology modeling, pipelines, transformation logic, and operational applicationsProficiency with SQL and Python; experience with Spark or PySpark a plusExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating Palantir with external systems and servicesKnowledge of data engineering tools such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, or similar is an advantageProven track record building data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, or streaming pipelinesFamiliarity with modern architecture concepts: Data Mesh, Data Fabric, cloud-native patternsExperience leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellenceStrong communication and client engagement skills in English (written and spoken)Willingness to travel for client engagements when neededWe offer*:
