The Contact Center team is looking for a hardworking DevOps engineer to help take Zendesk products to the next level in terms of functionality and integrations.
You’ll be joining a team that works on our Voice products.
Voice is a complex real-time application that needs to be robust, scalable and maintainable.

Architect, build, and monitor scalable, high-performance AWS infrastructure solutions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to guide product development from an infrastructure and cloud architecture perspective.
Lead efforts to build, optimize, and scale CI/CD pipelines.
Drive security and compliance initiatives across the engineering organization.
Champion continual improvement in infrastructure reliability, performance, and cost optimization across teams.
Take a leading role in resolving production incidents, applying lessons learned to enhance system resilience.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence by sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.
Influence technical direction and infrastructure decisions for large, complex projects.
8+ years of professional devops experience, with expertise in AWS environments.
Deep knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Proficiency deploying infrastructure as code, especially with CloudFormation.
Demonstrated leadership in driving devops and infrastructure initiatives.
Significant experience supporting and debugging production systems with strict SLAs.
Expertise in designing and improving CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in systems architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
Advanced proficiency in Ruby or Go.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
AWS Associate, Professional or Specialty Certifications highly considered
AWS services we use include: CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, Kinesis, EventBridge, Elasticache, S3, CloudFront, Organization, Control Tower, KMS, Secret Manager, EKS, ECR, DynamoDB, VPC, API Gateway, Cognito
We communicate over Slack and use Zoom for meetings etc.
Google Docs, JIRA, Confluence are our most used collaboration tools.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.
This role must attend our local office for part of the week.
