Your role in the Team
You'll be leading a small, close-knit team of developers working closely with the dealing desk to deliver a green field project built on Linux server software for our high throughput market making systems.
We're looking for somebody who is excited to work with large scale low latency high-frequency data systems.
What you’ll do
You will be a hands on Technical Team Lead willing to lead by example so you shouldn't be afraid to occassionally get your hands dirty doing the following:
Implementing new features in code
Debugging and fixing issues
Working with the Product Manager to schedule work for the team and the business
Improving the Team's roadmap
Running Sprints and Retros
In addition you will be expected to coach and mentor your team members on technical and ways of working subjects.

What you’ll need for this role
You'll be leading teams of C++, Java and QA automation developers, coaching and mentoring them on technical topics, ways-of-working subjects, gathering technical specifications and liasing with business stakeholders.
So we are looking for candidates who have a relevant technical degree as well as the following:
Technical Team leadership
Risk management and compliance
Stakeholder management
Continuous improvement
Experience leading and inspiring technology teams with a passion for great team culture
A firm understanding of Agile and the desire to push improvements
Experience and proficiency in design at system and component levels
