We are inviting applications for the role of Aircraft Engine Repair Engineering – Assistant Manager - English – Remote Poland
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft engines' departure records, developing, and managing repair requests for aviation engines, evaluating and substantiating repair sources for aviation engine repairs.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support, all Aircraft Engine repairs and maintenance ensuring the tasks are completed according to aviation regulations and industry standards, work closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective repair solutions are implemented in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Develop Repairs for Commercial Engines, Modules and Components, in order to achieve the objectives of maintenance cost, performance and life oIdentify and develop new repair technologies and creative application of existing, to address business needs;
oDefine and coordinate the substantiation activities (design, analysis, testing, etc…) needed to demonstrate airworthiness of serviceable or repaired components;
oOwnership of Technical Publications relevant to engines, components or Sub-assembly
oUse of design tools: 2D / 3D CAD as Unigraphics, and in-house SW’s
oUse of Tech Pubs creation/editing tools
oAnalyze and interpret technical data, maintenance logs, and maintenance records to determine the required repairs and maintenance tasks.
oCollaborate with aircraft maintenance teams and engineers to develop repair process.
oConduct research and analysis to identify suitable repair techniques, materials, and equipment.
oCollaborate with internal teams to provide technical guidance and support during the repair process.
oDocument all repair development activities, including repair specifications, procedures, and outcomes.
oStay updated with the latest advancements in aviation engine repair techniques, materials, and regulations.
oProvide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of repair processes and procedures.
oAssist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the repair process. Conduct post-repair evaluations to assess the effectiveness and longevity of repair solutions.
oConduct technical analysis and substantiation of repair sources to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
oCollaborate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and certifications for repair sources.
oPerform risk assessments and evaluations to determine the suitability and reliability of repair procedures.
oDocument and maintain detailed records of all repair source evaluations, substantiations, and approvals.
oParticipate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to aviation engine repair and maintenance.
oAssist in troubleshooting and diagnosing engine issues and failures.
oAuthor / define repair tasks, including substantiation as a Competent Author (CA).
oShould be able to choose a Repair Technique based on different Damages and elaborate on Advantages and Disadvantages of that chosen Repair Technique.
oShould be able to write a detailed procedure/steps on each Repair Technique and explain the use of each Step.

·Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
·Sense of ownership, attitude for collaboration, proactivity
·Good technical skills
·Good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
·Clear thinking and diligent approach
Preferred Skills:
·Relevant certification in aviation engine maintenance and repair.
·Prior experience in aviation engine repair and maintenance.
·Proficient in interpreting technical data, maintenance records, and engineering drawings – CAD
·Experience and knowledge in FEA, Stress analysis activities.
·Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards.
·Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
·Detail-oriented with the ability to perform accurate inspections and repairs.
·Strong communication and teamwork skills.
·Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
·Proficient in using computerized systems and software for documenting and tracking repair activities.
·Curiosity and passion for in service aviation engines
·Good materials and special processes knowledge
·Previous experience in Aerospace Design
