Responsibilities
- Investigate hardware/software and analyse them for points of access and vulnerabilities
- Perform assessment of the methods, tools and entry points that attackers may use to exploit vulnerabilities or weaknesses
- Conduct black-box/grey-box/white-box style testing of embedded system
- Perform offensive cybersecurity activities in compliance with customer policies and applicable regulation
- Communicate complex vulnerability results by providing technical reports related to uncovered cybersecurity defects
- Perform research on new attack methodology, vulnerability findings
- Train team in software/hardware cybersecurity testing
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge about embedded products, ideally for Automotive
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for embedded systems
- Understanding the different automotive cyber security regulations such as ISO 21434
- Experience in the development of embedded systems (good understanding of embedded architecture, development, and design principles)
- Experience in security/safety design for embedded systems
- Good English language skills
- Experience in Automotive industry - nice to have
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Python) - nice to have
- Knowledge in low level protocols such as SPI, JTAG, UART - nice to have
- Knowledge of cryptographic methods - nice to have
