The Role
- Provide expertise in the Finance and Costing SAP S/4 HANA module (SAP FICO, COPA, Asset), the integration with other modules and the connected portfolios in it.
- Drive implementation and provide technical and business leadership where/when needed to achieve the vision and results of the roadmap.
- Define, design, build and oversee the implementation and rollout of ERP functional solutions based on SAP S/4 HANA for SAP FICO.
- Develop new features as per business requirements and create documentation, including configuration guides, functional specifications, support test planning and execution
- Ensure the solution fits to the company F2P requirements and the end-to-end technical operations processes including systems, interfaces and platforms
- Define and contribute to the development of interfaces between SAP and other systems
- Act as deployment focal point for assigned data objects in scope for migration
- Interacts with local Business Data Owners (BDOs), deployment Functional Process Experts, ETL Team, Legacy teams, etc.)
- Analyzes defects, issues from readiness reports and manages data deviations working with relevant stakeholders until resolution
- Collaborate with the program and business teams to ensure continuous business and IT alignment
- Closely collaborate with functional and IT teams like Business Analysts, Master Data, Process SME, Business SME, users etc.
- Manage and guide business analysts working assigned
- Lead complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions ensuring that any exceptions from “SAP standard” functionality have sufficient justification and positive value proposition
- Own overall inventory of workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (WRICEFs) for the area of F2P
- Coordinate build and deployment work packages ensuring good collaboration with build partners (developers and configurators)
- Work closely with regional deployment lead to ensure effective project governance, management and timely reporting of progress on activities and work packages according to the program plan and milestones
- Ensure smooth handover of the solution and the systems built to the support and operations teams
- Bachelor’s or Master degree (Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Mathematical, Information Systems or Finance & Accounting) or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum 10 years of SAP FICO + S/4 HANA project implementation experience
- Very good command of English language (speaking & writing) and work experience in a multinational environment
- Good understanding and application of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability and process analysis
- Has in depth knowledge of SAP Project Management (External PM certification is an advantage), understands business processes and understands cross functional/integration process flow, data and the dependencies
- Good Understanding of SolMan ALM methodologies
- Influencing capabilities up to Directors in business and Informatics groups.
- Good conceptual ability by understanding complex problems/information and good ability to abstract and represent the idea in a simple easy to understand way
- Solid communication, able to speak up and good business partnering skills
- Be able to manage ambiguity and conduct rapid prototyping to mature requirements
- Work in an agile environment and often on multiple initiatives in parallel
- Readiness to travel depending to the project/ services needs
- Experiences in Pharmaceuticals industry and processes is more advantageous
- Experience in delivering solution feedback and proposal in his/her area of expertise
- Good CAPEX Experience, incl. integration with Procurement and Project Systems for Assets under Construction
- Good Fixed Assets Experience, incl. integration with Financial Accounting and Controlling
- Experience with Fixed Assets / Capex business processes, primarily around Vehicles, Fixed Machinery and Equipment plus Buildings incl. Capital Budgeting processes and integration to S/4 HANA
- Experience with Depreciation/Amortisation scenarios around Fixed and Intangible assets and the accounting treatment for related Liabilities
- Good A/P (Invoice to Pay) experience with integration of cloud procurement solutions such as GEP (desired)
- Integration experience with satellite systems for Business Planning and Reporting (SAP Analytics Cloud)
Requirements
About You
As a Finance Solution Architect, you will work on strategic programs in the Life Sciences finance, controlling, manufacturing, and/or logistics areas helping clients in biopharmaceutical, medical devices and drug distribution, and develop strategic business capabilities while further deepening your knowledge in this area.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
