Senior Embedded Automation Quality Assurance Engineer
The Opportunity:
Mersive Technologies, headquartered in the USA and expanding in Poznań, is the creator of a first-of-its-kind wireless presentation and collaboration platform.
We are looking for a lead tester, responsible for creating QA processes in the early stages of product development, to join our growing team in Poznań.
We are developing the new generation of the Mersive Solstice device - a central hub enabling content sharing and integration of various communication tools.
This is the ideal position for someone who likes to express their opinion and have a real impact on product development.
The position requires hybrid work with visits to the Poznań office 3 times a week.
What you will do:
- Lead the embedded testing process for the development of our hardware devices, including defining test strategies.
- Create test plans and execute test cases.
- Ensure the security of embedded systems by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate measures.
- Configure and maintain testing environments, utilizing DevOps skills to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop automated test frameworks from scratch, primarily using Python.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers to identify testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct manual testing when necessary.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in embedded testing, preferably in a senior or tech lead position.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux embedded systems and experience with embedded hardware testing.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to develop automated test frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for configuration management and environment setup.
- Familiarity with cryptography security concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English (minimum B2) communication skills.
