You will be within the Supply Chain & Operations function, in the Fulfillment team, which helps clients drive efficiencies and develop competitive advantages through transformation of its logistics, transportation, warehousing, global trade and distribution capabilities. Although no two days at Accenture are the same, as a Transportation Management Systems Manager in the Fulfillment team you will work at the heart of transportation management transformations, from concept to implementation.
Support Accenture clients to define their future logistics technology landscape and selecting appropriate transportation solutions to optimize their logistics networks for enhanced customer centricity, efficiency, resilience, responsiveness, and sustainability.
Design improved transportation management processes and business requirements to achieve client business objectives, making the best use of the selected technologies capabilities (especially TMS), integrated to the client technology landscape.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of the new processes and solutions, from design to deployment. This may include managing solution detailed design, development/configuration, fit-gap analysis, master data preparation, user acceptance testing, change management, go-live readiness, and support the new way of working in early operations.
Lead large global / regional projects, managing project scope, budget, plan, workstreams and team. Manage client expectations and ensure they are met by the project delivery.
Support Accenture business development activities, by building proposals describing Accenture services and solution to respond to client needs, typically as part of a competitive RFP process.
Stay up to date with transportation leading practices, new technology developments and innovations. This may include driving innovative initiatives with Accenture’s ecosystem partners.
Minimum 6 years’ experience working in management or systems implementation consulting, or as part of a corporate function running transformative projects with implementation of Transportation Management Systems.
Hands-on experience leading global or regional implementations of BlueYonder, Oracle, SAP or Manhattan Transport Management Systems or other logistics software.
Strong understanding of transportation processes and technology solutions, and passionate for continuously learning about innovations and new developments.
Fluent with Supply Chain concepts and how transportation impacts the overall supply chain.
Analytical mindset and able to work in a creative yet highly structured way in problem-solving.
Excellent teamwork and ability to work in a distributed project delivery environment.
Deep understanding of urgency and ownership with limited supervision. Goal driven.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills required.
Ability to work in multicultural / multiskilled environment.
Fluent (oral and writing) in English, other languages are considered a plus.
Experience supervising a large and distributed project team.
Business development and negotiation skills.
